[Make her a bento]
"Aww..look at you and Kuroo [Name]-chan! You guys look so adorable i could just eat you up!" your best friend cooed shoving her phone to your face. What was displayed made you growl in embarrassment. A screenshot of you in your Phineas halloween outfit, sulking with cream on half of your face and a grinning Kuroo with an arm slung casually over your shoulder and a ruined pie on the other hand.
You seriously didn't need to be reminded of how you just spent your halloween with that boy. Not that it wasn't fun, it was and you earned lots of candies that you are sure your breath would smell like candy for a week. But somehow after halloween Kuroo got the idea that you're both suddenly best friends and he kept bugging you all morning.
Thank the gods you don't have the same class together.
"Don't be so pouty geez, you manage to land a hottie ya know?" your friend gave you a suggestive wink in which you rolled your eyes at "Hottie my ass. He's a nuisance and is too clingy" you heard your friend sigh in defeat "If you keep thinking negative things about boys who approaches you all the time, you're going to end up alone with 60 cats by the age of 40" you shrugged indifferently "I don't mind"
"Oh really?" you shot up from your seat, head bumping to whoever had come up from behind you. An audible 'Ouch' was heard and when you looked over your shoulder you weren't in the least bit surprised that it's Kuroo. Funny how you've been avoiding him like the plague and yet he made it so easy to find you.
"What are you doing here?" you hissed rubbing the spot where you had bumped his nose at. Kuroo gave a little tap to his slightly red nose before averting his eyes to you. What you'd call a shitty smile trickled on his face "I decided to drop by and greet my soon to be girlfriend" he innocently said. It didn't help make the situation any better when your friend cooed so loudly, gaining the attention of students in your class
"First off just because we dressed up all matchy on halloween doesn't mean i'm going to be your fantasy girlfriend. And second, can't this wait until after school?" you brought him down by his collar and whispered dangerously quiet
Kuroo smirked "But it's lunch already, and the sooner i get to see you the better" you glanced at the clock and cursed for it is already lunch time. Which means a whole period where Kuroo is free to bother you.
"Anyway, i was just going to give you this" he took out a blue bento from his gym bag and leaned close to your ear "I made it special for the future Mrs. Kuroo" you shivered at the coyness in his tone but regained yourself quickly and flicked him on the nose.
"Like i said, i wouldn't even be your girlfriend much less wife" you stared down at the blue bento and thought for a moment. What kind of guy would bring a girl a bento? You can just imagine the trouble he went to make you one. With a heavily thumping heart you looked at him and pout "But i guess..thank you for the bento" Kuroo, seeming satisfied with your answer grinned and stepped out without another word
Instantly your friend bombard you with squeals, more cooes and other too terrifying noise for you to describe.
"He made you a bento!" you gave her a deadpanned look "I can see that" she squeals again, nearly breaking your eardrums "Are you going to eat it?"
You opened the thin plastic lid and smiled at the aroma.
But once you saw the bento arrangement he displayed for you, your ears went red and your fingers held on to your shirt right where your heart was beating fast
There on top of the rice were drawings made from different kinds of ketchup and sauce, forming the shape of your face with a smile and a blush made with some red spicy powder.
On the side of the bento you could see a small note attached which you quickly skimmed over
'I wanted to make you something beautiful. I didn't know what at first, but then i realized you're beautiful! Have a nice lunch'
You scrunch the note in to a ball and tossed it to the other side of the room with a steaming face
"That baka..this is considered cannibalism"
Outside of your classroom, Kuroo had a smug smirk when he waltzed back to class. Kenma, his friend glanced at him for a quick minute before returning back to his game "You gave her the bento?"
"Yup" Kuroo leaned back on his seat with an even wider smirk "And you're still convinced that she'll fall for you?"
"Definitely"
